Television invention

Hi my name is Telma Maxwell, and i am going to tell you the history about television when it was invented , who invented the television and etc.

A television is something that entertain the viewers who are watching TV, also to broadcast the weather, tell you things that's going on around the world.


TV was invented on January twenty six in the year of 1926 john Logie Baird demonstrated at his laboratory in London, the transmission of moving images with gray scale on television . Later on 3 July 1928, he practically demonstrated the worlds first color television tranmission.

On 25 August 1934 in Philadelphia, the first electronic television to be demonstrated to the public was by Farnsworth at the Franklin Institute. Several programmes were telecasted across theUnited States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France,and the Soviet Union.

On Tuseday july first of ninteenfortyone A famous television history date. On that day, the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) activated new non-experimental call letters fortwo stations (WNBT, later renamed WNBC & WCBW) in the United States, and permitted commercial advertising. It officially marks "DAY ONE" of American television. Any broadcasting before that date was considered'' expermental ''.

Not all stations switched from experimental to commercial at once. It was a slow process which took years to complete. By way of a side note, the official start to public "experimental" USA television is April 30, 1939, with the televised opening of the New York World's Fair. That would make the Fair the first TV show, if you want to talk about the experimental period.

Another interesting place in piadelpia is the ''Societ Hill''. The reason why ''Society Hill'' is a interesting place is because for one the location , the area of society hill is a very peacful place and also it's a stock company to whom Willam Penn made liberal concessions of land and privileges, encountered virgin territory and woodlands stretching westward to the Schuylkill. They found some Dutch and Swedes living here as well. Though by 1683 the Society's assets already included a sawmill, a glasshouse, and a tannery in Philadelphia, but two score years later they were bankrupt. The Assembly put the property of the Society in the hand of trustees in order to pay its debts. Home to many members of the federal government when Philadelphia served as the nation's capital, the area also attracted the locally wealthy and international nabobs as well. Incompletion Over decades the area lost its cachet and ultimately became a dilapidated slum with a massive food distribution center located on Dock Street in the area of the Merchant's Exchange. Moreover ''Society Hill'', is a very peacful neighborhood and the community and the area is very fanstastic and alsowme.
